Our approach
Nap-Time Gym is for parents and busy professionals who want short workouts that actually work, without wellness hype.
The principles
- Compound movements first. Squat or lunge, hinge, push, pull and carry. They train the most muscle per minute.
- Progressive overload. Every strength routine says how to make it harder next time. We use double progression and about 2 reps in reserve per set.
- Warm up and cool down, briefly. General movement plus ramp-up sets, built into the clock so you don't skip them.
- Safe exercise choices. Joint-friendly options, an easier and harder version of every move, quiet no-jump circuits, and safeties on barbell lifts.
- Consistency over intensity. Health guidelines (WHO, ACSM) recommend muscle-strengthening work at least two days a week plus 150–300 minutes of moderate (or 75–150 minutes of vigorous) activity. Short sessions count toward that.
What we won't do
No detoxes, cleanses, "fat-burning" supplements, or pills. No miracle claims. If we ever change how the site makes money (sponsors or affiliate links), we'll say so clearly on the page.
Not medical advice. This is general fitness information. If you're pregnant or postpartum, injured, or managing a health condition, get personal guidance from a qualified professional.
